A brief summary of my CNY, quite ok, though not as interesting as other years but still ok. First and second day went house visiting at numerous places. Played quite a bit of things like pool, cards, mahjong (Yes, I know how)......
On the night of the second day went to my parents' friends place for dinner. Played a whole lot of stuff there. They even have a dartboard.... Cool.... Angbao wise, collected quite a few. Then again, CNY is not just about Angbaos isn't it? It's more of like visiting friends and relatives whom you don't usually see all the time right? Well, that's my own opinion anyway....
This week, two words to describe it: Quite slack
Tomorrow is the only full day that we have for lessons. Tomorrow there is training too. Yes!!!! Thursday is half-day due to the super good O level results, so lessons end at 9:40. Means there's only two periods to endure!!! Friday is Cross-Country at Turf City. 3.5km.... That's pretty long..... However, after that, there's still NPDP training for us, so we can't go home and slack off early.....
Well, let's end off with some pics....
In the green zone, but still far away from the Bull's-eye. Still, it's the closest I've had all night :D
Lols.... Random pic of Reginald eating the scraps of ice-cream from the tub..... (He didn't eat the whole thing mind you) XD

Whenever I remember that day when some people just daoed me when I greeted them , I just feel like I've done something wrong. I start to think, what is it that they dislike about me that led them to daoing me? I then think: I'm a showoff, attention seeker, extra, over enthu till it becomes irritating, I ask too many questions, actionist, some stupid bugger who can't do anything right, selfish, crapper, think I'm damn big, talk too much etc.....
Perhaps all these are the reasons why their actions are so. I wanted to change to become a better person as one of my new year resolutions. But I guess I changed into someone worse, I got the opposite results. I think: Is there anyway to change myself? This time with the desired results? I couldn't. If that's the case, is there any reason left to continue living this life? Is there any reason to still exist and stand in people's way? Perhaps not....... Perhaps I'll see future results first and then decide if I'll turn into a recluse.
Now, I'm going to stop being enthu, stop asking questions and start to relinquish my dreams, since they can never be achieved.
I'll stop getting in everyone's way.....

Feel my wrath!
Hi, I'm Bei Er the dragon.
After that was the actual celebrations. I didn't get to see much cause we were organising the orange giving thing and were gathering outside. Got everything done with a number of teacher's help. Then we stoned in the hall waiting for our cue. Kept getting calls and smses from Nicole asking of we were dismissed yet and that she was in ATS already..... Some schools got dismissed real early..... Then the last program was our turn and all the Student Leaders of Catholic High went up to the stage to sing the CNY songs, though I think hardly any of us were singing..... Mr Heng and Yu Lin lao shi were supporting us with their singing. Then, all of us went around to give the mandarin oranges to the respective teachers. I was giving to Mr Talib. Then all of us went back onto the stage to continue the "singing". Finished off with the "Your're so fine" cheer by us and we were dismissed. That was 12:30pm. Then Miss Tan wanted all the SLs to stay back. Did some briefing on the volleyball match which we had nothing to do with and then we were off. That was 12:40pm. Damn late..... Though we didn't win the mascot competition, I was glad that most people in the class worked together to at least come up with something that we can proudly say that it was done by our class 3-10. :)
Went back to ATS with Wen Xuan and Chuan En. Were joined by Kwan Hong and Guan Yan later. Melvin and Wei Shian apparrently had Chem remedial but Miss Tan Seow Wee didn't turn up so they left...... Reached ATS. Looked around. Everything looked so small compared to Cat High. Then met some of the members of 6D '04 who were You Yue, Justin, Aloysius, Wei Shian, Jedidah, Pei Yu and Chye Ping. Decided to go watch a movie. Met Ming Woon as well. So we took 52 to Juntion 8 and took a train to Dhoby Ghaut. Had a lot of debating whether to take a cab and all that, mainly fueled by Aloysius. Lol..... Jenn Hao joined us after that.
So we reached there and went to Plaza Singapura. Why they wanted to go there I still have no idea. There, had another debate what to watch. It was between Epic Movie (suggested by Justin) and Just Follow Law. Nearest timeslot for Epic was 5:55pm and Just Follow Law at 3:50pm, but the latter was under the "selling fast" category. So we were like debating for a long time before we decided to watch Epic Movie since Just Follow Law had only the first 2 rows, which SOME people didn't want. So we bought tickets, which were friggin expensive. $9.50!!! That could burn a hole in your pocket..... So we had about 1 hour and 45 minutes to spare. Went to Carl's Junior for lunch, which was quite expensive too.... Pei Yu was complaining that she was hungry cause she had not eaten since the previous night. (Sounds impossible?) Then she went to eat tako pachi, then ate a burger from Carl's Junior. You Yue, Ming Woon, Wei Shian and I were mainly the ones who were eating. The drinks were free flow so we could drink as much as we could. Gave some to those who needed it. Then Ming Woon left for CCA or something like that. After eating, Wei Shian left as well. Speaking of Wei Shian, during the whole journey that all of us were together, he kept suaning the two girls like crazy, especially Pei Yu. Lol.... He kept suaning her about her height and how small she was and all that. Damn funny watching by the sidelines. Ming Woon, You Yue and Aloysius joined him there. Wei Shian should be a professional suanner. Lol..... Pei Yu was like in a combination of laughter and frustration. I feel like laughing at the thought of it.....
After Wei Shian left, we walked around the place and did some bo liao things like going up and down the escalator. Pei Yu and Jedidah also kept sitting on the escalator steps. We walked around then Jenn Hao was asking us to play in the arcade, but some of us were in school uniform, so we couldn't enter. I don't play arcade games anyway..... Met Kai Jie there. Stoned around all the way till 5:30 then went to this corridor near the cinema and played/talked cock there. Were finally able to enter the cinema hall and we went in. Finished the movie and we were like.... WTF?!?
Well, if you see the poster and the ads, you'll probably think that the movie is some comedy, so did we. The movie has a bit of entertainment value, with some funny parts and quite a combination of different movie settings together like Willy Wonka and his chocolate factory, Da Vinci code, Hogwarts castle, Land of Gnarnia, Pirates of the Carribean (the pirates can break dance! Cool...) and the remote control from Click. Storyline is quite ok but I think certain parts were crap. There were some damn sick parts involving people like Mystic (X-men) and some of the women on the pirate ship. Other parts made you have the "WTF?" feeling like the part where one character was using his urine to play sudoku in the snow. One stupid part with quite a bit of laughs was the part where there was the war and there were starship troopers in the enemy lines... Lol..... Then in the last part Borat came and talked trash in that stupid suit of his, then he slapped his ass and the movie ended. Judging by some parts of the movie, we would probably say its rating is NC16 or M18, though it's under rating to be advised.....
In conclusion, you shouldn't really watch it. Cause it'll pollute your mind a bit and you'll feel disgusted.
After that we took the train and went our seperate ways. Met Kai Jie again, this time with Alphonsous.... Lol.... Alighted at Yio Chu Kang with Justin and went home.
I think that I had a wonderful time with my ex-classmates. Though it was just a movie, we sort of strengthened our bond as members of 6D '04. This time, I got their contact numbers, so that I won't be like last time and lose contact with my friends again. Perhaps we shall organize a class chalet during one of these holidays. This day was surely fun without doubt.
Happy belated Birthday Cheng Howe and Jimmy!
Enjoy your reunion dinner tonight everyone! :)

After that we went to the auditorium for some intro on whatever we were doing. The speaker was not unfamiliar but I have no clue how to spell his name. Anyway, he gave us some lecture which lasted like over 1 hour till even Jerold was tired 0.o I was half asleep and only absorbed a bit of what he said.... :P Lasted till about 9+ then we were dismissed and had to gather at the plaza.
First we went to the Supreme Court, most interesting part of the whole trip. Saw a court room as well and all that. Had fun taking the lift too. :) Next was the St Andrew's Cathedral. Saw the grand place..... Then went to can't remember what the place was called.... It was something to do with the buildings and stuff.... Had our lunch there.... No McDonalds as what the teachers had told us..... No wonder they returned me the list..... Heard other classes in other tours got to eat that though.... Anyway, we saw the different parts of the civic district on a 1:400 scale model. Quite nice..... Went back to school at about 1:45?
After that went to Kah Hoe's house with Leonard to do the CSSP project. Sort of finished the survey, played a bit.... Went to collect my specs but they weren't ready.....
Today had normal lessons. Morning assembly programme stretched quite a bit. Sebastian was caught for talking if I'm not wrong -.- Then after that had CMC meeting... So I missed the first period of Chinese...... Went back for class and found them at the amphi-theatre. Apparently Rao Lao Shi was damn pissed with the class for not handing up our zhuo ye. Those who did were safe and could sit at the study corner to read some hao zhuo wen book..... So we were safe :) Rest of the day nothing much.....
Also went to collect my new specs today. Quite nice. Degree is slightly higher and still need to adjust to it. I think I look a bit like Deddy with the specs. Lol....
Tomorrow's CNY celebration! There's two periods of lesson though..... After celebration I'm going back to visit ATS. Seems like very few of us are going back, those from CHS that is..... Hope to see old friends there..... By the way, sorry Nick Chee if you're reading this..... I can't go bowling with you guys. Maybe next time.....
Something's bugging me......

Anyway, Monday couldn't concentrate on lessons because of the Muster Parade in the afternoon, ok maybe because partly I was tired. Guess I missed out on a lot.....
Anyway, we fell in at the plaza at about 3pm. Did usual stuff, put bags in the stall then fell back in. GOH guys fell out and the rest of us were left. Troy sir drilled us for quite a while. My timing standard has dropped, I seriously need practice....... Drilled for what seemed like the whole afternoon then we fell in into our parade contingents. I was in the contingent commanded by Troy sir along with a number of other Sec 3s like Terence, Kah Hoe etc.... Did one round of practice then it was the actual parade. Before that, Troy sir told me that I was going out to take the Total Defence Silver badges for our squad. First thing that came into my mind was that I was going to be like Jun Wei last year. He helped our squad take the Total Defence Bronze and didn't get promoted. So obviously I was damn tensed..... Actual parade. Prize presentation..... I think the whole of the Sec 2 squad got promoted to Lance Corporal, with like what half the squad getting 3rd Class? Much better than our batch leh..... Wow...... Truthfully, some whom I did not expect to get 3rd Class got the badge. I shan't say who but they really proved me wrong. Good job guys.... Congrats!
Sec 3s..... First one to go up was me to collect the Total Defence Silver badges, super nice feeling, to be marching out of the contingent and marching somewhere else. Maybe it's the "free marching without restrictions" feeling? Dunno..... Lol...... Anyway, to make this short, everyone in the squad got promoted to their next rank except for Kenneth and Linus. Don't be disheartened guys, especially Linus. Work harder for the next promotion test! :)
So, I got promoted to Sergeant!!! Woohoo!! There were also 6 new campcraft badge recepients. Xing Yu, Yi Bin, Wei Rong, Kah Hoe, Ken and Yong Jie. Congrats guys!!! As for the rest, go for it again the next round!! Terence also got his Life Saving badge :0 That's one badge that had not been seen in the unit probably since the 26th Batch. Nice.....
NCOs, very outstanding achievements I must say.... After the parade, alomost their whole squad were Staff Sergeants except for 4 people I think. But that's something impressive. After the Muster Parade, not after NPCC Day, as in the one in May..... Wow..... 28th Batch is zhai man..... Darius sir and Wee Siong sir also got promoted to Station Inspector. Guess we have two more sirs to greet during training. Parade ended quite well and it didn't even drizzle at all, as during the practice there was thunder. Guess we were blessed.
We changed then the Sergeants had to meet Si Ming sir mainly something about the Student's Council. Guess Yong Jie may join SC, though I think some of us may think "Yong Jie?! Are you sure?" But never mind, give a chance, I'm sure he's improved from last year.....
Played soccer after that then went home.
Just want to thank all those who wished us luck for the Muster Parade. We really appreciated it. Thanks :)
Today, damn tired so couldn't really pay attention in class. Got back Maths Common Test paper. 29/30 Wow.... However, I could 've gotten full marks if not for the stupid +, - signs for question 1..... Crap..... Geography, found the marks. I'm the bottom of the class 11.5/20 Haiz....... I think my other subjects cannot do any better than this.... Must work harder liao..... Was late for Blackbox for like 20mins today.... Crap.....
Tomorrow's Learning Journey Day cum Valentine's Day cum Total Defence Day. It should be quite fun...... Anyway, good luck to all those participating in tomorrow's Total Defence Day parade!
I didn't think I'll ever say this, but Happy Valentine's Day people, though it's a little early. Those who have girlfriends/boyfriends or whatever. Guess I kinda sound a bit like wen xuan. Lol.... There are some people (like teachers) who make a huge fuss about this day, but to us, it's just a normal day. Why they do that I'll probably not know until I experience well..... you know what I mean. That is if, I do get to experience it..... Lol......
Bah, what the heck, just hope all of will enjoy ourselves tomorrow!
Oh damn, I didn't do any homework today......
Sunday, February 11, 2007
Yesterday went to make my new specs, quite nice I must say.... My degree has gone up again! Crap!!! It increased about 50 for each side.... Maybe I should use the com less often.....
Oh yah, yesterday went out for dinner with Carol and Howard. They're and engaged couple, friends from Australia. They're on hoilday and they came to visit. So we went to some restaurant at Marina or something like that. Took a few photos of the live seafood there. Don't have time to upload it now. Maybe some other time......
Today nothing much, just went to Han and back. Had a damn funny debate today.
We bid farewell to the sitcom Phua Chu Kang Pte Ltd as the final episode of the final season finishes. His shows have really kept us laughing all these years. Come to think of it, it's actually because of this sitcom that people liked to poke fun at me many a times. You should know why..... Anyway, we'll miss it very much....
Tomorrow's the Muster Parade.... Finally...... This parade as metioned before, will decide which course some of us will take. It totally depends on what badges or what rank or both that we get during this parade that will make us decide what post we will probably aim for in the NCO Council. So hope everyone gets what they want, even the NCOs and the Sec 2s. Good luck everyone! :)

See ya later....

Anyway, Monday had English paper. Very scared cause I may get penalized for plagarism as my story was adapted from a movie. Tuesday had Social Studies first, not confident for that. Chemistry.... Hmm... Maybe will do okay. Wednesday had Physics and Geography. If I pass the Physics paper I'll be super happy..... At the moment I've lost about 13 to 16 marks already. Didn't complete the paper. :( Geography so so.... Thursday had E Maths, quite ok, finished the paper and had time to check. Most say it's easy. Heard some people had 29/30. Mdm Ng said that our class has two guys who got full marks. :0 I wonder who they are. Must be Jerold Loh and some other guy..... Biology, thought that it was quite hard. Some others said that it was easy. Dunno.... Had English literature paper after recess, for us Lit elect students that is. Same thing.... My second question still don't know how to answer....... Today, Chinese paper. Same, so so. I had read one of the passages before.....
So many other things had happened this week. Firstly, congratulations to the other six who got selected for NPDP. So the NPDP team consists of Ken, Yi Bin, Terence, Xing Yu, Yong Jie, Jun Wei, Tong Yang, Wei Rong (Flag Bearer), Jason (Flag Bearer) and myself. Speaking of NPDP, today all 10 of us went for our 1st GOH training. Wee Siong sir and Darius sir came along with us as they were part of the Prize Recepients group. So, today we went to draw our M-16 rifles, pretty much about the size of the Mark 4. Did Sedia, Senang Diri, Kekanan Lurus with rifle. Also learned Rusok Senjata, Turun Senjata and Hormat Senjata (For us it was revision a we had learned them before, but still gained some tips). Using the M-16 is pretty much easier to use than the Mark 4 in my opinion, especially during Rusok Senjata. Just that now my right hand's quite sore. Long story about the way we hold and go to Rusok position for the rifle.
After the training, left HTA, headed back to school. As Wee Siong sir and Darius sir came with us to the HTA, the Muster Parade was postponed again.......... zzzzzz So, the Muster Parade is going to be held on Monday. Hope I get promoted..... Then there's probably going to be NAFA test by NP after that. Oh my.... Die liao. We had dropped 4 batons at the HTA. 3 dropped from the stack of batons when I tried to take one. 1 got knocked out of my hand when we were turning to march out of the parade square by Wei Rong. That baton was with the frock somemore. So we got pumped 100 by Wee Siong sir, we still owe 150. Really sorry about that guys.
After training, didn't want to go for PTM, so played a bit of soccer then went to S11 for dinner. Met Area 4 officers on the way. Also met Si Ming sir and Jacky sir. Si Ming sir was like telling us to quickly go home. Went home on the train, which was damn packed. Reached home about 10:40pm. Very late......
This weekend I plan to do some work like all the organizing of my stuff, corrections for homework, homework, filing. Of course, I also plan to polish up my whole uniform very nicely, much nicer than usual as all of us can participate in the Muster Parade on Monday. Plan to play golf on Sunday after Han. Tomorrow probably going for lesson after missing training for 2 weeks. :P One because of BURST camp, the other because I wanted to study for Common Test.
Lastly, good luck to all those who are taking their Common Tests soon (Non Cat High people) and good luck to all those taking Hostory elective for your test on Monday, that's majority of the level.
Hope those who got their O level results today got what they wanted or better. :)
Oh yah, I saw Nicholas Chee at the HTA today.....

Common Tests await!
Alright..... In a few hours we'll head into Common Test week. Whether we can celebrate CNY in peace will depend on how well we do. I decided to give my life a more positive light if possible and I vow to make this week a good one. I will not screw up again.Schedule this week:
Monday: English
Tuesday: Social Studies, Chemistry
Wednesday: Physics, Geography
Thursday: E Maths, Biology
Friday: Chinese
After the last paper on Friday will be the Muster Parade, the parade that will change the whole course of my NP life, but I'm not going for that. :P Instead, I'm going for NPDP practice with YiBin, Terence and Ken. First time we're going to handle M-16s! Woohoo!
However, first, I have to concentrate on the upcoming test.
Good luck everyone! :)
I seriously don't know what to do. I didn't do well in Chemistry class test, I didn't do well in Biology class test, I probably won't do well in the Physics class test, I failed my English Compre cum summary, Geography, Lit and Social Studies I don't think I'll do well, Maths I'm damn careless and lose marks and my Chinese sucks!!!! SO WHAT THE HECK AM I GOOD AT??!?!?!!?!?
Maybe wasting time, yeah that's right.
I seriously don't know what to do. I'm really a let down. Parents out there are proud of their children beacuse they are either doing well or improving but I'm just the opposite. I seriously suck............
The only consolation for the whole week was that:
CHSNPCC ACHIEVED GOLD!!!! YEAH!!!! Go see the NPCC HQ website
http://app.npcc.gov.sg/data/d_awards_uopa.html
Well, I think that the 28th Batch really deserved to win the Gold Award. Kudos to you! :)
Now..... We're trying as hard as possible to study for our common tests. I'm still considering whether I should drop Biology. Problem is that I also don't want to leave 3-10, although I don't feel part of it, it's such a nice environment for learning. I don't know......
Another day ahead.
Please tell me the meaning of life.....
Oh yah, for your info, if you can't reach me by my yahoo email, you can send whatever you want to dranzerv22@hotmail.com as well. My friendster uses the yahoo one.......
Adios
