CHS Homecoming Day 2007
Ok, today was the CHS Homecoming Day.... The last one that we'll be doing as part of the store owners thing.....
Yeah, so anyway in the morning went to the store and put bag then helped set up my class store a bit.... Then changed into full u and took the Sec 2s doing the morning shift.... Did UI.... Then briefing by Ken, followed by assigning of places.... Was assigned to the place outside the GO with Xing Yu and Jian Shen.... So basically we were stoning doing practically nothing as there was really nothing much to do.... Cause later Mr Toh (OM) and Mr Lee (Principal) say can park any where.... So don't actually need to do anything leh bah.... So we were stoning, occasionally going for breaks..... Ben Lee came DAMN late.... -.- Of course tio pump lah.... Then he joined us to stone... Then a whole lot of rubbish.... Then when we were walking to and fro I kept seeing the plaza and the madness there.... All the stores were like damn active and all that.... Felt so envious.... We missed like half the fun..... Zzzz So yeah, just did duty all the way.... Saw people from 28th Batch and 27th Batch come back..... Ding Yue also came.... A hell lot of people came lah.... Then while I was talking to Jia Han sir and Zi Ming sir Mr Yao asked me to what take photo for him, then what take chocolates for him.... Lol.... Returned to duty.... Found out something from Terence and Ken.... Then Miss Tan or is it Miss Saras call for CMC meeting.... Then I bo pian need to call representative.... Called Leonard from the store then I just went for the meeting anyway..... So yeah heard about the numerous power trips, also got told that we had to clean up our tables.... Then I went back to my place..... In the early part of the day LTY walking about and very jumpy sia.... Oh yah, I saw Jeanie, Rui Min and Bernice(?) and some other people I think? Must be LTY invite one lah.....
At around 1230 like that all of us went back to the store.... I was like getting damn high already cause we were fianlly realeased after 4 hours of sian duty.... Woohoo!!! Haha..... Asked the Sec 2s some funny questions then realeased them liao.... Went to change into NPDP shirt and green then chiong upstairs with Xing Yu like mad dogs.... LOL.... Released from that damn happy.... I also got damn high.... Haha..... Then Xing Yu and I went around scouting for stuff to eat.... Then bumped into Rui Min and company again..... Then both of us went to the Primary side's stalls and we were like "Wah..." They have stores that sell what Roti Prata and Fish & Chips..... Nice sia!!!! So we bought Fish & Chips then we ate then went to explore other places..... Bought drinks from my class's store as well.... 3-3's stuff was also not bad....
Then after that Xing Yu went back to the store cause he didn't to eat anymore then I bought more stuff then went to my class store.... I noticed A LOT of people had apparrently invited their girlfriends, sisters, cousins, friends etc.... Our dear friend also... Haha... The place was damn packed with people.... Ok, then a lot of other things.... Found out that the second shift people didn't need to do duty!! Wah lau.... They only needed to help clean up.... Lol..... After that helped to pack up for my class store then went to help with the tables and chairs..... So good right, not afternoon shift still go and help.... Haha kidding.... After that the Sec 2s were dismissed.... Oh yah, the floor was also damn slippery with all the stuff on the floor, nearly fell twice.... Lol...
After that went to play basketball with the rest..... Damn fun.... Played a lot... I imporved a bit.... Yay! =D Haha.... Played with some squadmates and people like Jia Yong, Sai Leong and Brandon Tan..... Damn fun.... Stayed till like 7+pm then came home....
Oh yah, LTY disappeared to dunno where after duty then I read something just now and NOW I know where he went..... No wonder he seemed a bit jittery or something lah.... He went out for lunch with Sinying, Rui Min, Jeanie and company..... Interesting sia.... For full details for their advetures you know where to go.... 2 choices actually.... Haha....
Anyway, found out that our 3-10 store did quite well in the sales.... So I guess after all the deductions and all that I guess we may have about 100+ for us.... Yay! Good job Daren! Good job 3-10! I also managed to see that some people that I thought that they didn't care at all actually helped out as well.... So yeah great effort everyone! =D Ok, here's the pics I took today.....

Ok, finally updated.... Well, first week of Term 3. Quite a number of things have come about these few days. You've heard about things on the newspaper etc....
Ok, anyway, this Semester, a new time table..... Erm, nothing really much to say I guess.... It's quite ok.... No all three sciences all on one day now.... Our new is Maths teacher Mr Julian Teo! =D Ok, he's a good teacher, we all know that.... I guess some of us will still miss Mdm Ng though....
Anyway, loads of other stuff has happened.... Let's see.... Oh yah... The CMC more-or-less-confirmed EXCOs are out. Congrats guys =D .... Will not reveal the names here.... You'll find out during investiture.... Although I guess many already know.... Haha.... Don't worry, I'm not one of those, so relax.... Well, perhaps I will get a little disappointed, but then I did make the choice myself that I did not really want to get involved there, I chose NP, and to me that's the right choice.... I won't have time to do all the things and attend the SLB meetings too anyway. So well, yeah.... You have my support guys! =D
Today had some CMC meeting.... Firstly about the ice-creams as the school gave us ice-cream as a youth day present.... Thanks! Yeah, then Miss Tan was briefing us on the homecoming arrangment thing then I saw Yan Hao sir there.... Saw him earlier already... Then he walked up that slope towards the G.O that path then he was staring at me or something.... Like I did something wrong like that? -.- Like that also very nice to stare at? Just because I'm like the only one standing besides Wei Jie while everyone else is seated, does that make me special? Zzzz... Whatever.... Not mad at him or what lah... Just still wondering why he has to stare at our group our something, the best is the look... Lol.... Anyway, still have to ask him or Nicholas sir about the drill commands and stuff like that... HQ keeps like changing so many things.... -.- Rest of the day nothing much.... Then just now got kao beied by one Sec 3 CO guy.... Wtf... They were playing soccer then the ball bounced on Eugene then I just pushed away with the dowel pole I was holding.... Then after that I turned around then the pole accidentally hit him then he like swore and scolded me said what just now block him then now whack him, then he ask me to f*** off immdiately..... -.- WTH lah.... Like that accidentally also Kao Bei, not like it's on purpose right.... -.- Apologizing to such people is just wasting your breath I tell you, although I did apologize lah....
Oh yah, today Mr Lee Chang Hong retired from teaching.... Yibin, KB and I helped a bit to carry some of his stuff into his car..... Well.... It seemed quite sad for us that he was leaving the school and our unit... We thanked him for the last time then we left.... Happy Retirement Mr Lee! =D We also had to sort of say good bye to Tian Ming sir.... He's like officially a Teacher Officer in Xinmin? All the best there I guess.....
Ok, I'm now going to touch on quite a sensitive topic..... On Wednesday, it was our first PT session sonce we took over and it told me a lot.... We had some PT then we did 2.4km run with the Sec 1s... Then? They lost for the last man AND first man timing.... Ok, if they lost but their timings were not bad and they tried then perhaps it's not too bad.... However, as much as I hate to demoralize my cadets, I feel that what YiBin and the rest of us have been saying make a lot of sense.... Many of the Sec 2s are simply not putting in effort in the things they do, be it PT, drills etc.... I believe that they are able to reach higher standards.... They have showed it before, but they just simply don't put in EFFORT in what they do.... Some of them are just stoned, no initiative, no enthusiasm.... Being quite is one thing, being stoned is another.... Everytime we take the Sec 2s, we see lot's of things that they can do properly but they just don't. Simple things like their uniform. Their badges obviously never polish, but they say they did polish it... And it's not once, not twice.... Pumping won't resolve the matter, they'll just take it as just something that they have to do for the sake of doing.... Where did all the pride in our uniform and CCA go to?
As their squad leaders, there's nothing really much we can do.... If they don't bother to improve or whatever, then all four of us have failed as squad leaders. As Peck Hor sir had told me, if you can mould your cadets to be better than you, then you have succeeded.... I've also heard from my other friends who are the other UG leaders that the same type of problem is arising in their Sec 2 squads too.... Whatever is wrong here? Sec 2s, it makes all of us very demoralized you know..... This is meant for the Sec 2s in the UGs.....
If anyone from the 30th Batch reads this, I just hope that you guys will really be able to buck up, if not seriously, CHSNPCC will fall.... It just takes EFFORT.... That's all.... It's just damn frustrating thinking about this...... Bah....
Ok, CHS Homecoming tomorrow.... NP people tio arrow for some stupid marshalling duty... -.- Always like that.... Zzzz.... Enjoy yourself everyone..... =D

Ok.... Today is the last day of the holidays.... Back to the hectic schedule... Well, now that we have taken over it's going to be pretty interesting I guess.... A wrap of this holidays.... It sucked.... Didn't watch any movie, didn't go out, except perhaps to eat lunch with my squadmates..... Other than that was just pretty boring stuff... If it weren't for NP activities I'll probably be bored like anything.... Guess all the NP activites livened up my life a little... =D
Ok... New Semester, new challenges, new aims, new vision.... Hope I'll be able to do well this Semester.... Hope all of you do too! Hmm... As for this blog, I guess I'll try to update it whenever I can.... Check back again....

Ok, anyway, past few days nothing really much.... Training on Tuesday.... Roughly the same bah.... Sec 2s need a bit of motivation? Then learnt some very important lessons as well....
Oh yah.... I know this is a bit laggy.... Got the news on Saturday but forgot to post about it.... So.... Both the Sec 3 and 4 teams are in the Shooting Competition FINALS!!! Woohoo.... Sec 4 team are National 2nd and our team are National 7th.... For prelims lah... That is.... Congrats to Wee Siong sir, Zheng Jun sir and Louis for getting into the national top 10 individual.... They still have to shoot again to determine their positioning again though.... So we must jia you bah.... Work hard for the finals!!! 20th July..... The date of the finals......
Then Tian Ming sir informed us about a few things like he and Siming sir were withdrawing a little or something from the unit... More of him actually.... Haiz.... He's going to Xinmin to teach.... Zzzz..... Then Siming sir sort of not getting involved as much as he did before.... Zzzz... No HOs? Then Jacky sir...Erm.... He's still studying right? So a bit difficult to get him back sometimes.... Then CIs? Hmm.... Yan Hao and Nicholas Cheng...... Well... After this Saturday they'll be officially CIs..... Zzzzz.... Can forget about 2nd Class le bah.... So I guess we as the current NCOs must do our best bah... For the unit! =D
Wednesday was practically nothing bah.... Can't really remember what happened... I guess I was just at home the whole day.... Zzzzzz....
Today, went to store at around 830am.... Played basketball a bit.... Still damn lousy.... Haiz.... Then after that Mr Thomas came then we learnt how to set up the air rifles...... Then the NCC Land people went to shoot first.... Part of their Annual Camp programme..... We went to store and dunno did what then after that it was our turn to shoot... Woots! Shot damn lousy today.... 24 points out of 100..... -.- Last time shot 29..... I guess.... shooting 10 pellets onto one target card a bit much bah... A bit difficult to calculate the scores for the others..... Haiz..... After that we went to J8 to eat..... The rest were watching a movie just now... Rise of the Silver Surfer.... Zzzz... Wanted to watch but my parents didn't allow.... Sianz... Felt kind of lousy.... Then it sort of led me to think about other parts of this life of mine.... Sian.... So anyway had lunch with those not watching the movie, who were Xing Yu, YiBin and Tong Yang at S11.... Saw Bishan Gay there.... -.- Nearly spoiled my appetite..... After that buy bubble tea then came home.... Oh yah, bumped into Lynette at J8.... Lol... Then after that met again at the 825 queue at YCK interchange.... Lol? Meet once not enough must meet twice? LOL....
Haiz.... Now back to this boring life of mine.... I seriously detest this kind of set lifestyle.... Crap.... What to do? It's my life.... Haiz..... Once school reopens then it'll be the same thing all over again.... Zzzzz.... In short, I'm a No Lifer.... =P

Ok, I'm back here..... Well.... Latest event which took place was LMSC.... It's Leadership and Mentoring Skills Course in case you didn't know..... Anyway, from Wednesday to Friday we had a full day course each day..... Something like 7am-7pm approximately......
Shan't really say much.... Won't bother..... Anyway, was in Alpha squad, under Kelvin sir and Chester sir.... Alpha's a good team I must say... So saw and caught up with a number of old friends.... People like Han Yuan from last year's ATC group etc... Some new friends made, they're nice people.... =D There's one Lim Jun Wei in my group from BPS... Haha...
Anyway, LMSC we had mainly lectures and the learning of drills... Some people need to stop laughing during drills.... Lot's of stuff here and there.... Food was ok....
Then we Cat High people always get scolded during area events cause our traditions and stuff are different.... Zzzz Like the second day dunno which squad got pumped when we were in full then the Cat High guys in that group tio scolded for putting our berets on the floor, which we've always been doing.... Quoted, "Cat High people! Who told you you can put your beret on the ground?! Did Tian Ming sir or Si Ming sir teach you this?" -.- Last year also tio scolded because we used our own timing to greet officers.... zzzzz... I guess the officers should at least tell the cohort what needs to be standardised... Different schools have different practices lah please....
Other than that the rest was so so.... One good part was probably the SIT thing.... We had scenario then we had to present on how we would deal with the problem.... The presentation was on the last day... Then Terence and I were the ones acting out for the first part.... Quite fun that part... Haha... Err.... Can't really remember the rest.....
Anyway, after LMSC, was the big event... Graduation cum Mr Lee's farewell parade.... Anyway, it started with before the parade some names being called out.... From CHS were YiBin, Leonard and myself.... So we had to go to the plaza and all that then we found out that we were the merit awardees... The best member of the group thingy.... Damn surprised... So anyway we had to go to the plaza to get briefed then we saw the massive turnout for the parade.....zzzz.. Pratically the whole 28th Batch was there.... 31st Batch (supposed to come), people from 27th, 26th and even 25th Batch.... Heard that some from 24th Batch was there too.... Anyway, there were tons of people there.... Some wearing working clothes and all that.... From previous batches I suppose... Then Mrs Alice Long was there... Heard she was NP last time.... And a lot of other people.... Even one wearing dunno what rank from air force or what.... Rank got one bar one....We saw the turnout then tio stun liao... After our briefing then everyone was coming up already..... Then Terence passed me the drill cane then we went to freshened up a bit.... After that we went to collect the rifles which were at the corridor of the hall... Then the GOH found out that the rifles were oily! Lol... No cloth somemore.... Then they fell in and then Kelvin sir gave us some last minute practice... Jian Ming was taken out cause he wasn't sure on how to do the procedure so bo pian.... We all gave motivational talks and encouraging words.... Then straight away had to march in liao.... Waahhhh.... March in, got into position... Supporting con took like damn long before they came in.... Then the parade started....
Ken, YJ and Jun Wei marched in... Emcee didn't change script and said Jason's name instead of Yong Jie's name... Lol... Jason didn't come.... Then Mr Azman went onto the dias..... He didn't even look at Ken when Ken was doing the part of asking him permission to carry on... zzzz.... Haiz..... Then we stoned for a while then Mr Lee came, escorted by the CIs.... He was wearing the damn nice uniform like some tuxedo and his 3 medals were displayed there..... Waahhh.... Damn nice... 28th Batch was like going "Worh" damn loudly... Haha.... Then saluted again this time to Mr Lee.... Followed by the inspection part.... Woohoo.... Turned on time... Then the part when we had to slow march was like damn scary.... You could feel all eyes on you and it was quite freaky... People, especially those from 28th Batch, were taking photos.... After GOH was the inspection of the first rank of the supporting con.... After that Terence and I marched back... I think we banged together.... So it was quite successful I guess.... Then came the damn long part.... Speech by Mr Azman.... Prize presentation for the Best Unit Cadets... Representatives from every unit for the certs of participation....Then the best trainees thing.... Merit awards were given out and for the guys first.... So my name was called first, from Alpha mah.... Then my hands were damn numb from the standing too long then couldn't execute the sedia properly... Damn scared I would drop the drill cane... Then cause the emcee was a maam then I was too used to hearing her voice liao then I went "Maa.....SIR!!" Wah lau... Damn embarrassing.... Then YiBin and Leonard's names were called... Damn nice.... SGT Tan Yi Pin Bryan... He's in the GOH contingent and has acknowledged the award... Then SGT Leonard Lim Jing Jie... He's also in the GOH contingent and has acknowledged the award.... Then SGT Seah YiBin.... He's in the GOH contingent and has acknowledged the award.... LOL... Three names in a row all from Cat High... Haha... Then the girl's one... Dunno why the rest just sedia and don't say anything.... Silent... Haha... I thought have to shout "sir" one.....
Then the overall best trainees... For the boys was this guy called Melvin I think from Peirce.... Girls was Adeline.... Then the awards to Mr Lee.... Mr Lee's speech... Then the NPCC pledge... Screwed up the Sedia for that one... Pledge over then the NPCC march... The song is the one they always use in parades.... No wonder... Then the march pass.... Then the formation of two ranks and stopping part.... Screwed up the berhenti a little... Dressing.... Then the salute... Then apparently the part about how the supporting cons salute was not really planned well.... So when Terence and I shouted the Hormat Senjata and Turun Senjata respectively.... They followed... Haiz... Never mind... After that we shouted our unit cheer and all that.... Why the Sec 2s like never shout one..... Lol... Then after that returned rifles and changed into mufti.... Then all the things like eating and taking photos with Mr Lee.... Woots.... Day ended quite well.... =D
Refelctions about LMSC: Well.... I guess I have learnt quite a bit from the course... I have made new friends and reconnected with the old.... I have also seen different styles of leadership, from the CIs, that is and from there we can all see what kind of leadership is good and what is bad... Which will allow you to gain respect, which will get you hated.... Which is effective, which is not... Well.... After all this, I guess I'll miss my friends in LMSC...... Hope to see you guys again during ATC etc =D As for the CIs? Perhaps, perhaps not.... =P
Reflections about Mr Lee: Well... Mr Lee was my Sec 1 Maths teachers... I remember him being quite a caring teacher, directly and indirectly.... I guess many sort of didn't care about him cause they thought he was blur and all that... But when he's your Maths teacher and your NP teacher you can see how good he really is... For the unit, all these 33 years of dedication to it as well as NPCC.... These years, he has brought the unit to impressive heights it is under his leadership that the unit is here today..... Now he has passed the unit to Mr Goh, he has as mentioned, "given a solid foundation" for Mr Goh to carry on.... Thank you Mr Lee for all that you have done these years.... We'll all miss you, the unit, the cadets, ex-cadets.... Thank you and have a happy retirement! Thank you sir! =D

Ok, anyway.... On to the stuff that happened.....
On Friday morning went to the store...... Then those who don't have the Campcraft badge went to take the badge test, which took like 20 minutes.... Lol.... Sounds damn easy..... Haha.... Sec 2s also took the test.... Then after the whole test was done then those in store went to J8 for lunch.... We went to the top floor then most of them bought movie tickets for Shrek 3..... Couldn't watch.... Sianz.... Last time I went to a theatre was to watch Epic Movie... Haha.... Anyway, then we went to the Food Court to eat and talk cock...... Then went back to school.... Changed into half u and took Sec 2s.... Sec 2s' drills still needs work.... Then after some time CIs came then we went to draw the Mark 4s..... Then had to teach all the rifle drills that were needed.... Teach until damn sian... Lol..... I guess the Sec 2s really need to work on their arm power....... If I had the time I guess I could have tried the hardcore training style that 28th Batch got..... That is to run around the track with the rifle.... Or perhaps keep drilling them.... Well.... Didn't have that luxury... So cannot help it..... After that parade practice then needed to teach Turun from Rusok.... No time so didn't teach at first.... I thought not needed for parade??? Haiz.... So no choice so teach lor..... Then after the practice then return the rifles....Then we found out that there was no mechanical oil!! Crap.... So just return the rifles first lor.... Then after that had debrief, some quiz com stuff I think.... Then dismissed with fancy drill.... Then I was still in half u.... Haha... The rest went to watch their movie while YiBin and I had a long talk/discussion or whatever you want to call it with Jia Han sir and Zi Ming sir..... Talked about a lot of stuff...... Especially about the Sec 2 squad...... Lol.... Then nothing else then zao home....
Saturday was the Police Week Carnival Traffic Duty.... Reported at 730am.... Did UI for Sec 2s.... Some obviously never polish badges still say got polish.... -.- Anyway, Mr Thomas came..... Then we wanted to set off but YiBin was LATE... Wtf..... Late for something like 20 minutes? Lol..... Then took the bus to the Police Academy.... Got there then we just sat at some stand first.... Beside us was Marsiling Sec...... Then some Police Officer came and asked for volunteers so volunteered lor.... Did something like preventing drivers from parking along some lane..... Then Terence and Ken were going around giving out the coupons and water.... After a while we were posted further into the carpark... Then YiBin and Louis came and told us that some other officer said that we could go back... So we went back.... Then sat at the stands and talked cock with our juniors.... Then another officer told us and some Marsiling people that we could eat some food from dunno what thing.... LOL..... Hardly did anything then eat liao? So we ate lor.... After eating we went to the main tentage area then found out that there was nothing to do... So we sat down again... Lol....
After that some officers came and told us to form some barrier around the area so we did that.... The some band called "The Shaggies" came on stage to perform. Nice performances.... Those people beside, or even around and near the speakers were like suffering..... Then another order came saying that we could go and use the coupons and buy food to eat.... Lol..... 1 hour, $20 worth of coupons to spend..... Haha..... Most people ate the Ramly Burger.... Nice..... One whole hour and many couldn't finish spending the lot.... Haha..... Went back and we stoned at the seats again.... We watched the performances by some emcee.... Haha... He's definitely someone with a "I" personality..... Then after that he like walked down the stage and was looking for people to do things... Then cause I was on the outermost chair and he was looking for someone in our lot... Then he picked me and asked things like where we were from and all that.... Then when he asked what we were here for then I said something like "Err.... Marshalling...." Then he was like in the funny tone.... "What marshalling? You guys are sitting here and you call this marshalling? Where's the Cat High NPCC Teacher?" Lol.... Ok, that was funny to a certain extent but calling out our school's name like that was a bit too much?? Anyway he said dunno what make some joke about giving me some N95 Handphone charger in the form of a water bottle..... Lol.... So got some pretty nice bottle.... Haha.... Then some lucky draw and some Marsiling people won some things..... Another order came saying that we had free time until like 330pm again so we went to get food and stuff again..... Lol.... Went back AGAIN.... Some more performances, another lucky draw...... Then we sat down at the seats when most people left.... Then some entertaining stuff about the emcee getting some people in couples on stage to do some dunno what reenactment of MTV stuff or something.... Then Terence got picked..... Another Marsiling cadet in full u also got picked as his "partner".... Wah lau.... NP full u leh..... Where's the pride in the uniform? Bah..... Then the emcee was like demonstrating the different MTVs..... Wah lau.... Damn wrong lah some of them... Too....well.... horny liao.... Haha.... Then Terence and the other Marsiling person had to sort of go first then they were like thinkinh and the emcee was doing other things then Mrs Chew came and said the bus had came already..... LOL.... Terence was saved by Mrs Chew sia.... Haha.... So we walked outside to the bus.... YiBin and KB went to get the drinks that Mrs Chew got for us with her spare coupons.... Then we realized Kah Hoe was not there then Ken and I went back in to get him.....
Went back to school then did some debrief..... Well.... I must say that Sec 2s, if any of you read this.... All of you need to buck up..... After a lot of things happened then dismissed.... Had NCO meeting then went to play basketball..... After a while then came back home....
Well.... That's about it..... Basically we just got CIP hours for stoning, eating and watching performances.... Total rubbish.... Haha..... Oh yah, we saw Rui Xian sir there.... Haha...
LMSC is coming up.... It's held in our school..... I'm notn exactly sure whether to be excited or not.... Well, during NPDP we sort of saw the so called better side of Area 4.... But what about the other side? The uncooperative people, the selfish stoners..... Well, this is based on my group in ATC last year..... Then there are the CIs.... Last year wanted to take initiative to give timing to greet the officers when they said so then did our unit method.... Didn't know about the normal way, so tio scolded.... Wtf..... Then I know that many tend to judge people based on their appearances only and nothing else.... So if the CIs do that, then I guess I'll have a hard time, seeing that I'm not those good looking types..... Haiz.... Hope I get into a decent group with decent CIs.... Speaking of that, the CIs haven't called me yet for my grouping.... Leonard is under Joseph sir sia.... Lucky.....

Ok, on Sunday was the day of the Police Day Parade.... So met Yong Jie and KB in the store on a Sunday.... Haha.... School gate wasn't locked... Then Ken came then followed by Yi Bin... So we left and took the MRT to Kallang.... Saw some people wearing full u with a jacket over to cover.... -.- That's like totally crap...... Then reached there then there was a shuttle bus service to the indoor stadium... Cool... The bus brought us there, then we had to change into full u there, had to wait quite some time for a toilet.... Changed then lined up and went into the stadium.... Got some seats then we checked out our goody bags.... Haha.... Then watched some last minute preparations..... HCI cadets were in the parade... Lol... Saw Fadouez sir.... Don't know how to spell it.... Then after a while it started, but with a sort of informal start.... Some emcee got on stage then talked and do dunno what then Hady came on stage to sing for a while.... Then the actual parade started, not before the band marched in and all that.... The parade commander's ICE a bit funny... Lol.... Marched in parade, GOH...... Can see a bit of lagging by GOH here and there.... Lol... Then Mr Lee Hsien Loong came.... All the inspection and stuff, then speech and all that.... Then some prize presentation.... Officers wearing the tucked out uniform, dunno what's the name for it, look quite funny when they march with that uniform.... Lol... Took quite a bit of time that one... Then all the recitation of the police pledge, National Anthem.... Even cadets wearing head dress must salute during the Anthem as well right?
After all that parade marched out.... Supporting contingent's style for turning right and marching immediately was quite impressive... Oh yah, forgot to mention their march in... The supporting con came in from the two sides.... Then two ranks formed up then the other two went in from the other side.... Damn cool.... The CID personnel look a bit weird marching in long sleeve shirts and ties.... Hmm..... Then after that some performances by the police and stuff... Then parade marched in again.... Ok, only mainly the GOH.... Then official dismiss and the end.... Then we wanted to leave then the CIs and HOs asked us to fall in... So fall in lor.... Then waited for like damn long then can finally exit then we found out that they wanted to give us some food and water... -.- Saw Zaki and Paul sirs there.... After that took the shuttle bus back to Kallang MRT and changed there, along with the rest of the cadets..... Before we boarded the bus on the overhead bridge we saw FI Dominic and he said we can even wear our full u home... -.- That's crap.... So anyway changed there and then took the train back to Bishan and we went to S11 to eat.... After that came home....
Ok, Tuesday was shooting com, prelims.... Went to school.... Slacked in store.... Then had some last bit of training then we went to change.... Met Jacky sir then boarded the bus and went to HTA.... Reached there, went to the shooting the range, then had to wait.... Damn crowded with shooters sia.... Saw the Guanyang people there..... Mick, Chun Hui etc.... Saw RI people too... Familiar people lah.... Then in the Pierce lot saw Wen Yao.... Tee Leng sir pointed someone in there to us.... Haha.... Someone who reads this would understand.... Haha.... We did relaxing and visualisation excersises as well while waiting.... Tian Ming sir also came then we did one last practice on a upper floor.... After that time to go in liao.... Went in, one last briefing, collected cards and went into the range.... Sian.... The gun use too much then got problem.... Some shots didn't seem to come out.... Couldn't really get the first and second pressure, only a few shots then managed to.... Then for Figure 2 target got 39 points out of 60.... Wah lau.... Two bullets missing.... Dunno is whether never come out or shoot then miss.... Sian.... Classification that time got full marks then now like that.... Siiiiiiiiiiiiaaaaaaaannnnnn....... NRA target slightly better... 74 points... So total score got 113/180..... Crap, cannot get top 10 shooters... Wee Siong sir and Louis shot like 152 points.... Nice.... Zheng Jun sir also shot quite well.... 140++.... So for our team total for 4 best scores was 504.... Sec 4s got 526 or something.... Hope both teams can get into the finals.... After that we went to the HTA cafeteria to eat then took the bus back.....
Yesterday had the AC parade practice..... Currently nearly all are in the GOH.... Those who went lah... I'm GOH 2nd IC... Nice... Ken PC naturally, Terence GOH 1st IC.... Jason and Jun Wei are the parade markers.... Training start then did drill revision for the Sec 2s..... Needs work.... Then CIs took over and went to work with the GOH on the Jadigan Dua Barisan part..... Ken, Terence and I worked on our inspection part... Then full practices...Use Drill Cane to Sedia and Senang Diri with the parade quite difficult.... Ok, not suanning anybody here..... Then Ken couldn't really say the Akan Berjalan Lalu command properly.... Lol... Quite funnyw when he was trying to say the command.... Then the march pass... Jason and Jun Wei can shout quite loud.... Good choices Ken..... This time parade even GOH 2nd IC can shout command sia..... Nice.... After parade rehearsal then we were asking Daryl sir to postpone our 2nd class promo test cause we were damn tired..... After some time they agreed.... Sec 2s sway still have to take....
Then in the afternoon watched the Sec 2s have their drill promo.... Lol, during ICE dunno who started saying Review Order March then the rest also spam... Lol....

Today nothing really interesting....
Ok.... On the Friday, 1st June.... So we went to school at like 9+ to go and set up the auditorium... We got all the systems up and running... Then at 11 we asked the auntie to help us lock the audi then we falled in... Then Jia Han sir asked us to go open again for the Sec 1 and 2s... So that was done... Then we were drilled by Jia Han sir.... Beret kept becoming like it's unseasoned like that.... Wtf.... Dunno what's wrong with it leh.... Keeps coming apart everytime we do drills.... Crap lah.... Anyway after a while then we did numerous things like preparations and all that like bringing chairs and stuff... Then it RAINED.... Crap.... Then it stopped... So the NCOs (28th Batch) decided to quckly do the parade rehearsal... Then when the Sec 4s were marching in then it started raining AGAIN.... Craaaaaap!!! Bah... So anyway they decided that they had no choice so had to hold the parade at the gallery.... Quite crappy cause there was almost nothing.... No march pass.... Sian... So we went there and just straight away went into the parade liao.... No practice or whatsoever.... So Darius sir marched in... GOH (Sec 4s) formed two ranks... Inspection of GOH.... Then saluting and speech by Mr Chen... Quite meaningful his speech... Then after that the return of the squad files and drill cane... Then the Sec 4s formed back into their squad and then they did their fancy drill...
The 28th Batch's fancy drill was quite impressive... Quite long and it seemed like it required a lot of creative thinking... Then there was one part where they sort of formed the numbers 28.... Cool... Then they formed one circle and did the unit cheer damn loud.... Then somemore parts to their procedure before they faced each other then they did their batch cheer then they squeezed and threw their berets.... Quite cool their fancy drill.... Then after that there was some slight cock up in the emcee's script cause they forgot to change it.... Then after a while Mrs Chew came up and announced the post list.... Then Ken went up to take the drill cane... Then Yi BIn went up to take our squad file on behalf of Terence, I went to take the squad file for Sec 2s and Jun Wei took the Sec 1 file.... Lol, when Mrs Chew called my name I was a little stoned cause I senang diri too long liao then cannot bang and shout properly.... Sian... then after that Ken asked permission for the dismissal of the parade then Besurai!!! Woots! Saw some laggers in my squad who lagged and didn't do the Besurai properly... Lol... Heard the Sec 1s didn't even do the drill.... Haha...
After that the Sec 1s and 2s went to have their lunch or something..... Then the shooting com people went to the G.O and waited for the bus then we went to Tanglin for our dry prac again... Did the prac and all that, then went to the cafetaeria to buy the burger again... Haha.... Then the bus came and we went back to school..... Then we changed and went for dinner...
At dinner we saw a lot of seniors, all from past batches.... I think until 26th Batch.... So went there and saw that food was already being served.... So went to join in and served the people... Then we sort of screwed up the order for the serving and all that.... Shoot... After that then we went to the audi to prepare for the concert... Then we heard Yan Hao sir wanted to see us.... Then he talked to us about what we wanted to achieve for ourselves and the unit in the coming one year... Ok... I know that's like quite important, but he could have told us about it after the concert right?? We were like damn busy liao then he still expect us to go and gather from where ever we are.... Quite strange right?? -.- Anyway after that we quickly chiong and got everything ready... Then we invited everyone to come in.... Then everyone was like playing quite a bit... Then wanted to invite officers in then Mr Goh said that everyone not settled yet.... So told YJ and Kenneth to settle everyone then the officers came in and then the concert started.... Mr Azman gave his speech... Then we had to get the Sec 1s into the backstage halfway cause Ken said they were damn slow in preparing... Then got scolded by Mr Goh cause it was rude to do so.... Shoot..... Then felt damn sian cause we screwed up quite a number of things.... Waaaaa.... Then anyway concert carried on.... Sec 1s performance.... Then their song.... Then some game where you had to guess the given number.... Can't remember the name.... Then there were people saboed to go up like Daryl sir, Sze Huan sir, Siang Yong sir, Yan Hao sir and Tian Ming sir..... Haha... Then Daryl sir first one to tio then he got some funny mixture of bandung, coffee and dunno what.... He drank the whole cup then went back... Haha... Then after a while game ended and it was the Sec 2's turn... Their performance was quite entertaining I must say.... Haha..... Then their song.... Then the next game was song guessing..... Then in the end the last song, Face Down, Daryl sir guessed it then he said both teams do forfeit.... Haha... Then they had to burst some balloons in the shirt... Then there were quite interesting ways to burst the balloons, like pumping... Haha... Then Darius sir and Yang Heng sir were like trying to burst the balloons by smashing into the other's back... Then Darius sir took damn long and the action was like damn wrong lor... Haha... If you saw it then you'll understand...
Then after that was our performance... So we showed our video... Haha... So many photos that were koped... Haha.... Then there were the interviews that we had collected... Then the one with Tian Ming sir which I felt was very meaningful.... Then at the credits we sort of spelled Tian Ming sir's name as Thiam Ming... Then he was like " Wah Lau!!!" Haha... Dunno whether it is the "Ming" spelled wrongly or is because we used "Thiam Meng"... Haha.... Then our song Tian Shi and our squad leaders came up and sang with us.... After that Wee Siong sir was picked to come to stage and sing a song (planned beforehand XD). Then he asked Daryl sir and Troy sir to join him. He picked a song and got Ting Ma Ma De Hua.... Then the singing part quite funny.... Haha.... Then after that was the Sec 4's performance "Love Me".... Then it was Mr Goh's speech about the Sec 4s.... After that he concert ended...... Talked to the Sec 2 outside... Then watched the Sec 4s do their fancy drill on the stage of the audi..... Then Sec 2s were dismissed while we had our own reflections..... Some people just need to really practice what they preach.... They tell others but sometimes they themsleves don't do so.... That's all I have to say... Then someone sort of jacked himself..... Lol... Then after that we packed up everything... Tian Ming sir briefed us on things like quiz com and all that... Sec 4s were having reflections and all that by their ex-squad leaders and Si Ming sir.... After that I left liao....
Ok... So a brief reflection.... I feel that 28th Batch has done a lot for the unit. They have achieved quite a number of things that perhaps have never been done before... Hmm.... I guess most has been said by the officers and the video that we did....
For our squad leaders..... Hmm.... I feel that they have done quite a lot for our squad, they have managed to bring out the standard in us not by force or threat, but by encouragement, most of the time..... They have managed to also bond our squad and solved some of our internal strives. Well... I just want to thank our squad leaders once again for all that they have done during theis one year or so.... All the best for your O Levels and your future endeavours!

Seems like because of that the council changed till this... Ok, don't get the wrong idea that I'm blaming anybody.....
