Sort of a quick run through of the week... Monday and Tuesday were probably 2 of the most disappointing days of the week... Monday received back all our English marks... Only can say that my writing really really disappointed me, since I had sort of been doing quite ok for the past few practices... Ended up writing MI for my compo too... Haiz, have to improve... Overall marks for English also was a disappointment.... Shall reveal everything in due time... Tuesday can't rememer why I was disappointed, only remember that it was sort of removed the next day... Keep hearing different versions for a single thing? Haha... Wednesday lessons and house meeting for assembly... In the morning I was sort of sleeping then got woken up and asked to join competitive running for Cross Country the next day... Lol? Thursday was Cross Country... Morning was walking to the MRT station, halfway coincidently met Joel, who was going to meet Joseph Ang... Took 162... At Ang Mo Kio or something, Ivan, Yibin, Zi Kai and some others boarded the same bus... Haha... What a coincidence... Reached Bishan Park a bit late... Admin stuff was done then competitive runners got ready... Order was Sec 2, Sec 1, Sec 3 then Sec 4... Sec 4 run, ran some distance and had to sort of call it quits already... Ran with Evan and Julian at the back... Evan somehow injured his knee and Julian had a blister after that... Ran with them still anyway... We came in as the last 3 or 4 people for the competitive race? Haiz... Mass run basically cheered people on.... Cross Country bascially showed me one thing: I definitely need more training for my running... Running 3.2km or so in 18 minutes plus is seriously no good, that includes our stoppages... Need to improve! Noel was the overall winner of Cross Country (again?) Guess Edward house lost out in the mass run....

After Cross Country, most of 29th Batch walked to the bus stop before Bishan Market and took a bus to J8 for lunch.... Came back, C.C Com people had training... Stayed with them with JW and Ben Lee.... Friday everything went so so... Ended up not using our full u because there weren't enough people and NCOs for a proper parade... Training did show some things though.... Jia you 30th Batch!

Saturday, as mentioned in the previous post, was the Campcraft competition preliminary rounds for the boys... Rode the bus to HTA... As supporters we had to wait for quite a while before it was our teams' turn to pitch... Quite a number of 28th Batch came to support as well... Both teams did their best in their respective pitches, now let us hope for the best! Bus-ed back to CHS, went for lunch at J8-KFC... Then we everyone was going around to scout for a birthday present for Yibin, whose birthday was the previous day... Was suppsoed to get for Jason too, but Jason went off somewhere, with someone? I went to buy the album by the band Matchbox Twenty, Exile on Mainstream... After that came home....

Today was basically tuition, nothing much... The temporary Blk 628 cooked food centre is running already! Majority of the stores have already opened and the store that sold char siew rice (my family's fabvourite) is back too! Yeah man...

This upcoming week would probably be just studying all the way again I guess... Thursday is the first dry practice for the Sec 3s for their .22 revolver classification shoot, Friday is their 2nd one as well as their shoot as well... A bit crazy? Lol... All the best Sec 3s... Yong Jie, Yibin and I should be accompanying them this time to HTA....

Hi everyone... Sorry for not posting for the past few days, didn't feel like posting anymore due to a certain reason... Anyway, Thursday, spent Valentine's day attending lessons and having some workshop called "Conquering the last lap". Quite a meaningful workshop... Somehow the class has developed a habit of calling me "mada", which means police... -_- People like Beier usuallly behind this... Lol... Does get annoying sometimes though... Then some other things really sort of ruined my day for me, one of which was homework! Spent the night chionging my compre before polishing my things, resulting in a 2+am bedtime... Then the next day, Mrs Yap said that we didn't need to hand it up... -_- Also, Thursday morning we had our O Level SPA briefing in the audi by Mr Quay.... Somehow he said some things that seemed to be jacking himself, thought I guess he was trying to inject humour into the lecture... Things said were like... "You try me, I'll cut short your SPA time and give you only 50 minutes! But you know I can't do that lah, it's just a threat" and "So, I believe you guys don't have any questions, so any questions?" Haha XD... Damn funny, yeah man Mr Quay! =D

Friday nothing really spectacular I think... Only thing was that the store key broke.... -_- Caused quite a bit of problems.... Did the Physics mock SPA, quite ok I guess.... We received our new timetable, now Tuesdays aren't so hiong already, problem is all our SPA periods are after recess! Zzzz... Dismissed, quickly went to change, settled NPAP people, then we went for training... Opening parade by Terence, somehow ended up standing in front of the NCO squad... Lol... And my beret came out of it's seasoned shape, again... Damn... Training, first 2 periods did arms drill... Revised everything again with the dummy M-16s.... For some reason, arms drill is really tiring as an instructor.... YJ took PT while Yibin and I went to take the Total Defence Gold test with the other NCOs, have to score 45/50 for the test to get the badge, MCQ format, sort of S.S based... Yep, don't need to get the badge already, cause I sort of anyhow did the paper.... Haha, closing parade after that, debrief, end of training... Went for dinner at S11, then hitched a ride back....

Yesterday, morning went for Chinese... HCL people did script checking, chinese people had some lecture, was sort of only half listening, went for bio remedial for a while then went to amry market with Ken, Jun Wei, KB, YJ and Terence... Bought some things, then finally managed to duplicate the class keys... JW and I also made something damn cool.... This...

Yup, damn nice... This was taken using a digital camera, my phone camera isn't so good when it comes to small details like small letterings... Quite cool seeing the way such things are made... It isn't some official name tag or something mind you... It's for fun... After that, KB, Terence and I hitched a ride back with Jun Wei to Khatib MRT station... Thank you! Felt a little ill so fell asleep....

In the evening went to some classmate of my Mum's place for some party of some sort... Ate quite a bit, played quite a bit... A pretty enjoyable evening on the whole, but there was something that really put me off... Started off when I was trying out my friends' piano... Then these two kids, a K1 boy and a K2 girl, came to ga jiao me and hit the bass notes at random, causing displeasant sounds which what we call "noise"... I knew they were just small kids, so I just told them to stop it, and they responded by doing the same thing about 6 or 7 more times... I sort of scolded them and they replied with sneering tones... WTF? K1/K2 children using sneering tones and trying to err, irritate some guy more than twice their ages? -_- Told them off a few more times... I kept telling myself that they were just children and had tried as much as possible to control my temper... I knew also that the mother of those children was also a classmate of my Mum or something, all the more I tried to control... In the end, couldn't take it anymore, I shouted. They didn't seem to be in anyway intimidated by my shouting, and sort of continued with their irritating taunts... It did attract the adults' attention though, and their mother went to deal with them, not any form of scolding though.... Then the other adults were sort of just passing off the incident as they, being kids, were just mischievious... Hate it that some people think such children are like angels, more like devils on the contrary... The incident had set me thinking though, are all kids going to be like that in future? If so, we're all dead....

Tuition today was ok, found out that Alvin was also attending the same tuition, though he's in the other class, the one that YL is in, HCL mah... Lol... After class went to check out the temporary 628 market food centre.... Seems like most of the stores were still under renovation, with only a few stores open... Bought food from the Chicken Rice store featured in today's newspapers, as it was probably the best store open there at the moment.... Went home after that...

An important issue to address... Now, as we are Sec 4, it's a stressful year for us. Undeniably, tensions will start to rise between even the closes of friends... I too, have experienced certain moments when my temper was just uncontrollable on certain days... We face stress, from school, from our peers, our parents and society... Some of my close friends have problems with their parents scolding them for not putting enough effort in their school work when the real situation is the direct opposite.... I remember experiencing those painful times last year, when I screwed my mid-year exams very badly... In a way, we have to face it, parents will be like this sometimes, they do show care this way, it's just that I agree, their approach is wrong sometimes.... All we can do, is to pesevere and work hard to prove to them what we;re actually capable of.... It's actually times like this when we really need our friends, which leads us to the next problem...

Also due to the highly stressed environments, everyone will get affected, and the attention we give our friends sometimes get affected, all of a sudden, we may end up not being as close as we used to be... I guess such things have to work both ways, understanding is important, showing care is too... At times like this, we have to learn to be understanding, and be there for each other... We shouldn't be too sensitive too either, though sometimes I myself am like that. Let's hope such problems of ours can be solved... This year will tax us mentally, and we need to be strong to overcome it...

Not sure what made me type the last 2 paragraphs... Forgive me if you think I as typing rubbish...

Upcoming events this week would be more homework and tests, plus Annual Inter-house Corss Country on Thursday... This year the venue is at Bishan Park.... Hope things will be ok for the week... Till then all the best people! Also, Happy Belated Birthdays to Jimmy and Cheng Howe!

Hey everyone... Start from Tuesday... Nothing much in the day except for the temperature check in the morning... Funniest thing was that I had reminded my friends to bring their thermometers, yet I myself forgot to bring it... Rocks... Lol... Lessons were ok... Got back Chinese Paper 2 results... 38/70... Chinese overall marks is 60%, B4... Crap... Found out that I got transferred to Huang Lao Shi's class, together with Jonny now... Good or bad I have no idea... Got back Chem papers too in the afternoon... Got 36/45! A1! Yay... Lol, must maintain... Went for tuition as usual, some "unexpected" person turned up... Haha...

Today was learning journey day! Sec 4s went to SAFTI... Saw OCS.... Quite cool... On the way there, some of us were like bluetoothing around some retarded pictures of some of our classmates... Damn fun... Haha... After OCS, went to the Army Museum, another pretty cool place... Next up, sort of free time at the Discovery Centre... Evan and I went to complete that chop thingy for Total Defence... Got a water bottle dubbed with the Total Defence logo on it, quite nice... Also, can't believe how much of a typical Singaporean we became, scouting for stuff we could cope... =p Lunch was pretty ok, then saw Qing Shan and Guan Hua playing some "Live firing" game with the SAR 21... Lol... Came back to school, stoned in store for a while, then went to J8 with Kah Hoe and Yibin on some errand for Mr Azman, for their OC meeting or something... Bought the things, sun bian went to get something... On the way passed by the Mini Toons and some gift shop on the top floor, place was practically packed with students, most of them probably buying V.Day stuff I suppose... Haha... Went back to CHS, then I stoned, read my comic, very little work done... No idea why I stayed back so late though... Lol...

Tomorrow there's some workshop for us, taking up half of the school day, but for our class we're confused when our workshop is, cause we were told it was after recess, but Mrs Tan told us a few days ago ours would be in the morning... Lol... What to do? Bring everything! Haha...

150th post... Haha... Today, wasn't really a good day... Firstly, some people fell ill, probably due to the CNY holidays I guess... Lol... Got back some results today... E. Maths, knew this score beforehand already... 16/30... A.Maths, 23/30... Better.... Saw the Bio marks on Sharepoint last night... Scored 33.5/45 for the paper... Plus 10% for SPA, scored 74% in total... A2.... May probably be my best score for this Prelim.... Wouldn't really get very happy over it though, cause it was only 3 chapters.... Yeah, and screw those people who keep on saying that they would fail all 9 papers or something then score an A1, or those who say, "You beat me in 1 paper, wah lau so good! I getting lousier already..." Keep these kind of bloody comments to yourselves can? A little bit of joy felt during Lit today, besides Wei Jie deciding to dao me again for some screwed up reason, got paper back... Scored 18/25... A bit surprised and happy... Had been doing pretty badly in Lit in the previous exams... Even thought that I really screwed up my paper after the Lit paper for Prelim 1... So, since I managed to score this much, on to improvement... Worst news of the day came up after recess... English... 10/25 for compre... Can go and die already... Really need to work on it if I'm still aiming for A1 for English... Last period Physics, got back papers too... 26/45... C5 score... HAVE to improve...

Mood wasn't really great for me for the rest of the day... Lost quite a bit of my drive... I need my motivation back.... Argh... Planning on going to school on Saturday to do revision and stuff for probably the whole day seeing that there's no tuition for the next 2 Saturdays.... Trying to get some people to join me, then again, may not be able to do all the way cause may still be visiting or something... Remember the 15 days of Chinese New Year? Haha... No idea who else we can still gather with/visit though, doesn't really matter though...

Hope I can get back my.... err... motivation? determination? Whatever lah... Long Tuesday tomorrow...

Hi people.... Main event today was basically just going to the club with some of the neighbours... Too bad Christopher couldn't come... Played bowling... 3 games, scores were 111, 110 and 207 respectively... 207 man!!! Broke my previous personal record of like 162 I think? Damn happy, that game included my second turkey of my life... Lol... For those who don't know, a Turkey is 3 strikes in a row... Lol... Damn happy.... After that played pool, won my brother 2 games to 1, neighbours went to buy drinks, and took damn long... Played a bit of basketball, lost quite a lot of my skill already, and I didn't have a lot of skill in the past... Lol... Bought dinner then came back home... Haven't done certain things that have to be done, sure to die tomorrow...

Right now, I'll have to get back into my studying mode/mood or else I'll be screwed... Sadly, have to wait quite some time before the next holiday comes... V. Day and Learning Journey day this week.... V. Day will be another normal day I guess (no surprise, lol...), Learning Journey day, hope it'll be interesting....

Hi everyone, Happy Chinese New Year! Though a bit late lah... Haha... Ok, backtrack to Wednesday.... Morning, school, nothing much, Happy Belated Birthday to Xiao Wee.... Lol... Many came in home clothes... Haha, people like LTY & Enzon wear until like going out like that... Haha... At first there was 1 free hour or so for us, some classes had fun, classes like mine were talking among ourselves, some people playing the lamest of games to pass time, I went around visiting people in the other classes... Haha... After that went down to hall for celebrations... Have no idea what the celebrations were like, cause all the Chairman and Vice Chairs were outside, stoning for like 1 hour or so, doing some things here and there for the last part of the show.... Got quite boring after a while, became lame to pass a bit of time too... Haha.... Saw some seniors.... Somebody damn dao lah, act like never see me like that... People like Joel, Tiong Hui etc all came back... Halfway suddenly there was a unit cheer outside the hall? Quite a weird time for that... Haha... Celebrations ended late, 11+am then managed to get dismissed... Met up with the rest of the CHS-ATS people, some of us decided to walk a bit, walked till Bishan North then somehow managed to squeeze up a bus... Some Singaporeans just refuse to move to the inside of the bus, resulting in the bus driver having to get up from his seat and shout at the commuters to move in, twice... Haiz....

Reached ATS at last, Wei Shian and I met Chye Ping, Ming Woon, Jia Ming, You Yue... Seems like no one else from our class went back... Met Jiafeng too, but she was with Si Yun (I think she doesn't remember Wei Shian and I, then again I'm not too sure about whether I actually know her or not... Haha) Walked around, met Mrs Erat, talked a bit with Miss Tan Meng Yang.... Waited for Justin to come, who yeah ponned school as usual on celebration days... XD Haha... ATS is also building some sports hall sia... The school also closed like damn early, 1+pm? Then there was some damn funny scene regarding Jia Ming and the security guard... Lol.... We left, and went to J8 Pizza Hut to eat... Jedidah came too... As described by Wei Shian, "Jedidah always as an emo look" Haha... How many times have we eaten Pizza Hut man... Lol... Some other people were supposed to come... Anyway, went to the Bishan driving range there was some pool parlour there or something, went there to play a bit, but had to zao off early... Good outing again with 6D people... =D Justin go organize class gathering after Os man... Haha... Reunion dinner that night at my grandma's house was ok, food was good as usual, my uncle has a gf man... o.0 At last? =P

Next day, Chu Yi, day one of CNY, went to grandma's house first, saw Wee Siong and his family when we passed by some part of the road... Lol... After that went to another relative's house for lunch, followed by another relatives' dubbed by us as the "Mua ji place" Haha... Visited my God-grandma for a while, then went to my Uncle's house.... Oh and yeah, my other uncle's car got scratched by some car who was reversing into a lot in the multi-storey carpark, they guy still wanted to argue, I think I heard my uncle swear? Talk about bad luck anyway.... Uncle's house for dinner, ate, "lo heyed" Played some game that involved gambling, lost all of my chips, 2 bucks nia... =P Some karaoke too, though many of the songs are like oldies, now idea what they are... Haha... And, my uncle's house is HUUUGE!!! What on earth man... Haha...

Second Day of CNY, didn't visit some of the places we usually visited, didn't get to see the Lion Dance performace.... Zzz... Visited my Dad's old boss and current boss's place... Followed by my God-grandmother's place (again) for dinner, adults had mahjong, I was using com.... XD

Today, had tuition, then came back home for the lunch party, though I already missed some of the food... Lol... Played soccer with my cousins, though it was pretty interupted here and there, Some friend came over after that, nothing really much... Just now went to some friend of my parents' place for dinner, pretty interesting, there was this uncle who was damn funny man... Most of them were like classmates or something, so yeah, a lot of them are roughly in the same professions as my parents, later adults were having their own conversations, while most of us kids were watching tv... For me, I was accompanied by my ipod.... =p

Ok, that's it I guess, bowling tomorrow afternoon! Haven't done any homework yet though... Zzzz... And I can't believe that people can get over 1k for CNY, shoot, I'm lucky if I can get half that amount man... Haha...

Hey everyone... Yesterday was the last paper of our Prelim 1 exams... English, Paper 1 I think I did ok... Pretty scared for Paper 2, hard compre... Anyway after that, Express Chinese students got back our Paper 1! Got 34/50 for the compo writing, which I wrote Bao Zhang Bao Dao... Quite ok, seeing that that's my first attempt at writing that in an exam... However, my Ying Yong Wen was a disappointment... 12/20.... Saddened... So my total marks are like 46/70... An average score I guess.... Went back to class, nothing much about the last 2 periods... Afternoon had CV meeting and soccer....

Yeah, then as seen in the last post... CHSNPCC achieved GOLD in UOPA 2007! A great joy initially, but as I discussed with KF and JQ after that, yeah I can agree... Nothing really stands out this way.... There are like 36 or 37 Gold units this year? That's A LOT.... Wonder what will be the situation in NPAP... Haha... Yeah, guess they'll probably revamp the UOPA thingy to make it more difficult (as quoted from someone's blog)... Or else there'll be even more Gold units next year.... Lol... At least we've done it... Lol... No offence to any of my friends from other units...

Today, in the morning was supposed to help Jason & Ken with something but we gave it up... Anyway, Sec 1s current and probably total strength is 21... o.0 No comments on this shall be made here.... Morning first period was Physics, changed to a SPA period, chinese found out that I was transferred to Yu Lin's class.... Well, she does seem quite zai in her teaching, but I wonder if I can last, with certain people in there... Yup... Bio was some revision, some jokes here and there... Dismissed at 10:40am! Had to finish SPA worksheet first though... Did that, had lunch, then stoned at store, played a bit of soccer... I REALLY need to polish my soccer skills... Though this year there isn't a lot of time to do that... Haha... Went home, then went for tuition, didn't really feel like going though.... Zzzz.... And now I'm back here....

Sometimes I really wonder if I should continue showing that I care, cause my actions seem to be doing nothing, not that I've done anything actually.... Haiz.... Then yesterday, heard some spectacular news from someone.... Will my dreams just go up in smoke like that? I really hope not.... Just now also accompanied Jonny to get his E Maths marks, might as well have found out my own, I did, and now there goes a bit of my mood for Chinese New Year... 16/30 for E Maths.... And it was supposed to be one of my strongest subjects.... I'm seriously disappointing.... After CNY, I'm seriously going to do all my revision and practices for everything... Speaking of practices, we have English and Chinese homework for over the CNY holidays... Rocks man... Go CHS!!! Sort of meaning what I just typed.... Lol...

Tomorrow is the CNY celebrations.... After that going back to ATS.... Hope to see as many of my ex-classmates as possible...

Yo people, due to popular demand, I shall be reviving this place... Haha, actually I've been bugged by JW to update, so I shall now...

Main events of the past weeks... Err... Oh yeah, last Saturday was the Area C.C Com... Well, I shan't talk about it anymore I guess... Guess important lessons were learnt... Congratulations to the Sec 3s for clinching the champion, hope you guys can strive to improve much more... Congrats to the Whitley team for clinching the Girls' Champion too... Still remember the previous day while Ken, Terence, Kah Hoe and I were studying in the store then Jia Han sir called us and told to us bring some mallets over... Lol... Must have looked damn funny while carrying 2 mallets on the bus to KCP... At the same time, Ken went to the Third Language centre to get his withdrawal form.... On that week's Thursday was also the release of the O Level results... Congrats to those who scored well... Still find that Daryl & Sui Chuan's scores were quite funny... Lol, no offence... It was also when those in our level got back their CL O level results... A lot of tension for those in CHS, cause our school's policy is that no distinction for that exam and they'll not allow you to take HCL for O levels... B3 maybe can or something... Anything below that is no way at all.... Yeah, didn't concern me cause I'm taking Express Chinese... Saw some my classmates tearing when they came back from the Audi with their results... Yeah, most have them now have been given chances... So far only Joseph and Joel have confirmed to drop HCL.... So I guess congratulations to people like Ken, Hilary, Ivan, KB, JW, Tie ren, Yanlin, Yibin, Wei Rong, Leonard, Jason, Louis, Clifton etc etc etc for scoring A1 and A2.... Strive for your HCL papers!!!

Then this week was our Prelim 1 exams... SS and Chemistry was ok... Physics screwed at least 1 question, Geog die already... E Maths so so, Elect gone case, A Maths lost 6 marks liao, Bio also tio... Chinese Paper 2 I think will screw... Then tomorrow's our last paper, English!! Spent a few times in the library studying... Pretty good place... Day before A Maths & Bio paper was at the library with Ken chionging A Maths... Stayed till like 7:30pm? Lol... Friday there was training... Yeah, and something happened... Learning point to be taken from there... Hope things will take a turn for the better for him, get well soon... We're really thankful that nothing else more serious happened, seeing that it was bad enough already...

Yep... Hope that tomorrow's paper will be ok... Pretty nervous for comprehension, seeing that I totally flunked the past 2 practice papers, with my vocab section even scoring a 0.... -.- Shall try my best... After that Tuesday may have a half day cause of the good O Level results... Then Wednesday is CNY celebrations... Anyone going back to ATS on Wed?????

No idea what to do now before dinner... See first then... Bye people...
